BEHIND THE LENS

My name is Rachel Martin.

 

I've spent the past three years learning more and more about photography.

 

It has become my passion.

 

I know that sounds cliché, but it's true.

 

Photography isn't only the way I express myself, but it's the way I connect with others. More importantly, it's the way I help the people I photograph connect with the people around them. I try to have my portraits showcase who the subject is. 

 

I like to focus on candids, but I also take time to shoot posed portraits, because they can be equally as beautiful.
